• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. For A Change...

I know most post with issues or complaints (About BRP or other members, it seems lately!)
So, I just wanted to post something different:

Had the Spyder out yesterday, just a quick local run around Rt50, 29, 9 and slabbed it back on I-81... 300 miles around Virginia & West Virginia county side.
No problems, no issues to report... Great weather in the low 80's, sunny and light traffic on all roads.
Really pleasant day. Other riders waving, people stopping and asking questions and comparing notes.
No drama, no issues at all.

That's it, just wanted to post something positive, for a change!

AHHHHHH

I can feel the wind on my face and the freedom of the ride. This is just what I needed to rejuvenate my soul, thank you.......ahhhhhh knees in the breeze, complete serenity......but no bugs in my teeth!!!!!!! Will be heading out this afternoon after the game.

Good to hear..!!

was out myself with six others ryding the hills. Great weather, great group, good lunch, no problems (well some ryde a bit slow). Thanks for the thread we need more and a snap shot or two....263682_3861802710287_1538712129_n.jpg :clap:

Ryde

I went for a short ryde yesterday (about 60 miles) and had a guy on a street illeagle wave at me...on the same rode later came upon 3 guys on dirt bikes with no plates, brake lights or other safety stuff....where are the cops when you need them?

Rides are always good.

We did a hundred miles yesterday and are going to do at least that today. Blue skies and crispy fall weather. It does not get much better.

I am probably mistaken but I think I count 8:dontknow:. I see an extra winshield at the top of the pic. Some great riding weather this time of year. Happy to hear everybody is enjoying it.

Great weather here in the east also. Rode down to Maryland with another Spyder lover had lunch and back. 157 wonderful miles.

We were out today, and it was beautiful here in Quebec. Was like a warm summer day, only the colours of the leaves told you it was fall!:2thumbs: Not many of these days left for us here, so we will ride every one we can.:ohyea:Oh yeah, the Spyder ran like a charm!

went to lancaster, pa. and spent the weekend riding with ten spyder friends! great weather, great riding, great friends! no more can be said!!:2thumbs:

Good rides and post

Those of us that do ride quiet a bit never think much about posting about all the good rides we've been on. If we did I am sure we'd all have a few hundred more post under our name. I have 25,000 trouble free miles on my 2010 RTS. I bought this Rt new in the crate in June of 2011, I know that some of you will think that is not a lot of miles for 3 years riding but I do have a stable full of 2 wheelers that get a little attention now and then. Also not being retired yet (hopefully in the next 2 years I will be) and averaging 40,000 plus miles on my car for business a year ,out of town a good percentage of the time, I still try and ride as much as i can. I thourghly enjoy the spyder. I am seriously considering trading up to a '14 or '15 as the 1330 really appeals to me. I am going to actively try and start posting more about my rides. I would enjoy reading about others riding adventures as well.

Coming to this thread late; The wife & I went to SpyderQuest a couple of weeks ago. Over 4 days we put over 800 trouble free miles on our 2013 RT-L SE5. Now the temperature in Lake George was in the 40's each morning, and got into the high 60's during the day, and the RT liked those temps a lot. Ran smooth, purred like a kitten, got pretty good gas mileage for a 2013, and in general had some great rydes.:thumbup: A few days after getting home the RT decided to be mean to me. I hit a pothole with the rear tire, and both mirrors fell off. :gaah:I tied them back on with bandannas and got home OK, as I was not but about 15 miles away. Lucky me, I had the foresight to cable tie the connectors together on both mirrors & did not lose them. I also have spare "washers" - that is what BRP calls them - that hold (usually) the mirrors in place in my toolbox so was able to fix the pretty quickly once I got home. If that is the worst that happens, I'll gladly trade 800+ miles of bliss for a couple of mirrors falling off.
