Footrest extension

Just finished making an extension to the rear footrest, thought you might like to have a look.

The Wife has long legs and needs to stretch now and again, I made some small plates in the original postion so she can move about a bit.

This is exactly what my wife was asking me to do and it looks great as well. Good job, thanks for posting this. I miss the English weather, even the rain as I am now living in Northern California, (originaly from Surrey) its 108 degrees today.

This mod has certainly been done before. I thank those that preceeded me for their posts. Mine is a little different. The passenger pegs are attached to a cast part. This casting has been broken by members of the forum. I felt that the extra leverage afforded by the extension might cause the cast attachment point to break. I ran my extensions both forward for the peg and back for a second attchment/reinforcement point. Below you will find 3 pictures of the Left side. I will do a second "B" post where I will post the pics for the right side. As with most of my custom mods I have to give credit to my good friend Phil :2thumbs: who is really the brains and brawn behind them ([email protected]) .
