• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Recently bought my wife a new 2014 Rt , when purchased Iordered fog light kit , has anyone installed their own fog light kit? I am going to install when they come in ,I have torn my sixes 2010 apart many times so ont think it would be too bad as I am going to blow it apart to instal, relay and aux. Fuse box for heated gear, trailer braks and trailer light isolator all at the same time.

If you have already done stuff on the 2010 and lived...you should not have any issues with installing the fog light kit. Mine came with...but I am not mechanical, and a bit lazy too. :roflblack:

fog lights

Thx. I prefer to do all my own service on sixes spyder and my Bmw rt , didn't think was worth $250 to nstall when I am going to take it all apart anyway

Not a problem...

if you have been in your previous RT you will be fine with this one...good idea to get a shop manual for it. They help a lot when doing your own work...

Getting the frunk off is the hardest part. A good pair of hemostats might help if you drop the plug that is under the switch blank inside like I did. Took my wife an I ~3hrs start to finish. She provided mostly moral support but and extra pair of hands can help a little.

When you pop the switch blank off use a tack puller screwdriver and be gentle the plug for the switch does not come out too far with it. Maybe 1 inch so grab the plug before it pops off. See above:banghead:
