• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

FOBO / Tee- valve stems / 2015 RT Limited

Has anyone installed the "T" valve stems with FOBO? :dontknow:

1. If so can a "T" valve be installed on the rear tire without interference?
2. Pretty sure the tires need to be 're-balanced' after installation of "T" valve stems, yes/no?
3. Where did you purchase the "T" valve stems?

Thanking all in advance for any info?:2thumbs:

1. I just added a Fobo set to my 2015 RT, including the t-valve on the rear. No interference at all. The Fobo can actually go on either valve stem of the T.
2. I would assume so. I actually had mine installed when I replaced the rear tire with a new Arachnid tire, so the balance was done as part of the process.
3. I bought the Fobo and T-Valve from Wingstuff.

3 quick answers have to get to bed work tonight

1... no interference
2... didn't have to balance
3... lamonster garage I bought all 3 1 T and two regular steel stems hope that helps have a great day

Why use T-valves?

I use a valve-cap TPMS system on a couple of vehicles I own, including the FOBO system for the Spyder. Looked at the T-valves, but never saw the advantage to using them. The sensor caps are easy enough to get on or off. For the Spyder, the size of the sensor is easier to handle on the rear tire than a normal valve cover, due to the awkward location. You can immediately read the pressure after you screw the sensor back on if you hit "Clear" on the app to clear out the pressures in memory, so no advantage there. And the T-valves add weight, though probably not much. They look a little weird, and draw more attention to the sensor caps, which I'd rather keep hidden from "curious eyes". To me, they are just a gimmicky accessory that I don't see any reason to buy.

JMO ;)
