• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. FOBO Problem

After hibernating since early November, I checked the Spyder's tire pressure using FOBO and found the there was no battery bar indicated for the front tires. However, the rear tire was still showing full battery.

So, I replaced the batteries for the two front FOBO's and everything sprang back to normal function. However, my rear tire (even though it shows a full battery bar) won't update with a current reading. I tried the "remove for 8 seconds" thing, but there's still no communication.

Can anyone help me out with getting it functioning again? Would simply replacing the battery do it (even though it already shows a full battery bar)?

Thanks!

I had the same problem last weekend. None of the units were registering. Replace all the batteries and see what gives.

Had the same problem....

Take your rear tire FOBO and put it on one of your car tires, then put it back on your spyder. For some reason the higher pressure of the car tire will make the FOBO come back to life. It worked for me. I used my truck tire that has 65psi and why it revives the FOBO, I don't know.

I'll give that a try, Thanks!

If the above suggestion doesn't work, I'll try replacing the battery.

FOBO seems to struggle with getting the battery level right. I replaced my airbag FOBO with a new battery because it wasn’t registering even though it showed green. After the change, it started registering. HOWEVER, I was then going to change the front left FOBO as it was red (and had been for weeks), but after the airbag change, it suddenly started showing as green :hun:
