I read the thread on here about the Gear Brake module that flashed your
brake lights when slowing down or down shifting and going solid when brakes
were applied. Since I have the semiauto tranny on my F3S I am thinking this
is a good thing as I generally just let off the gas and let her downshift with out
getting into the brake till it is time to stop. Went out on EBay and chased down
a pair of red cob leds. I used 1/2"x1/2" aluminum angle painted black and pop
riveted to the saddle bag mounting brackets. Mounted the COB (p/n P06-R001)
to the brackets and hooked everything up. Works like a charm and the leds are
BRIGHT. They work as expected and stop flashing when speed levels out.
