While we already had the LED Mud Flap lights for our Spyders, and my wife had the Ice White Day Runners, she surprised me by ordering some more goodies from ESI. This time they came in the form of Hyper Bright Bulbs for the fender tip lights, ice white for hers and amber for mine, a set of Amber Day Runners for me, and the Fender Tips Kit for both Spyders.
It took me a little while to install them properly, and a phone conversation with Jody to figure out the Day Runner connection had to go between the Fender Tips Kit connector and the actual Fender Tip light.
I already knew what a difference the Day Runners made on my wife's Spyder, but now with them flashing it is a whole lot better. I took a photo of the lights on my Spyder, and a short video to show them all flashing. Although the video is not the best quality, you can readily see this leaves no chance of someone saying they did not know you intended to turn.
This photo shows the Amber Day Runners, and Hyper Bright Bulbs, on my Spyder:
And here is the short video showing how everything looks when flashing now:
I also saw another video on YouTube that got my attention. It is red LED strips that go along the rear under panel, and then tie into the brake lights and rear turn signals. Very interesting indeed.
