I have a 2010 Spyder RT-S SE5 Model
I would like to change the Stock muffler with a New Yoshimura R-77 Stainless Steel Slip on one
See link :-
http://www.yoshimura-rd.com/ps-4721-1946-r-77-stainlessstainless-slip-on-epa-noise-compliant.aspx-
I have the Following questions
Has anyone done this yet and if so any Observations
Would I need to get the Spyder re-mapped or because it just a muffler replacement - I don't need to do anything further
Looking at the instructions on their website it states the following :
-REMOVAL
1. Remove the (2) stock tailpipe bolts at flange.
2. While securely supporting the muffler, remove the muffler mount bolt and carefully remove stock
muffler assembly.
3. Remove stock exhaust gasket as it will not be used with the Yoshimura system.
Anyone know how this would seal against the existing fittings - Concerned ref Exhaust gasses escaping from the joint
Also see ful Fitting Instructions - View attachment Yoshimura Spyder RT Exhaust 2010.pdf
Any information would be helpful
Thanks
