• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I went for a short ride (26 miles) this morning just to test myself and the Spyder in a very windy condition. (30 to 40 mile wind gusts, according to the weather report). I am really proud of myself, and the Spyder. Everything went good, after a little white-knuckle time. I have been worried about getting caught in this kind of weather, but feel much better now.

TIME will bring you to your comfort zone...
never ride beyond your level of comfort... the more you ride, the more you will feel a sense of confidence, and things will progress from there... I KNOW, I'M ONE...

Weather?

As a year round rider I can tell you that the spyder is fine in just about anything but icy conditions. I have done 60+ in the rain without so much as a hiccup (there is a reason why the front tires have low psi, EXTREME TRACTION!)
I have ridden in gusts up to 60 mph, while its uncomfortable it wouldn't say its dangerous.

The white knuckle thing depends on your grip too, I have a pair of gloves that are warm but lack grip on the palm so I have to kung fu grip the throttle so it doesn't spring back.
