• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Well, as some have seen, I bought my 2011 RS Pearl White last Friday. It had 2 miles on it when I got it. Today, it has been washed and parked with 218 :2thumbs:

So, after a lot of miles in a short amount of time... I STILL AM IN LOVE WITH MY :spyder2:

Where did I go? Well, Friday night I went to several friends' houses and they all loved it! One wasn't home, and ended up telling me he went to dinner, so we met him (wife and I) at our local BBQ place. Everyone loved looking at the bike, even the strangers on the patio!

Literally, everywhere I've stopped, someone is asking about it.

Saturday I went to a good friends and he got a test drive. He was hooked immediately! I don't think his wife was as he has a Toyota Land Cruiser he's sunk more then 60K into, but she did think it was a nice looking bike. Did several "errand" runs the rest of the day, and the storage area was used a lot. Really, really handy there!

Today was the big day though. Today I met up with a long time biker and good friend who has a Harley Crossbones. We went for over 90 minutes around back roads in Texas, through Taylor, Hutto, and eventually back to Round Rock for lunch at Twin Peaks (Very biker friendly place with great "scenery".)

All the girls loved the Spyder and said it was the coolest thing they've seen in a while. Selfishly, that felt good considering my buddies Crossbones is a pretty cool looking bike in it own right.

I only took one pic, when we parked, but it was a great ryde! We almost ran into a pack of goats crossing a back road at one point, but we made it out alive.

Can't wait for next weekend to ryde at length again!

Hope everyone has a great holiday tomorrow!
