There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. Hi folks.
Well, our Spyder is a couple of months old now. I've pretty much got it set up the way I want it (backrest, armrests, cupholder, windshield and power ports/cell phone holder). We decided to go for our first overnight road trip. We rode to Helen, in the north Georgia mountains to celebrate our 5th anniversary. Only about 110 miles round-trip but I planned it out for back roads the whole way. A really nice ride, avoiding the rain for the most part, and a fun trip!20181107_111545.jpg20181107_111553.jpg

Awesome!

We're talking about our 1st overnight trip on ours too. Glad it was fun and you had no problems :ohyea:

Always more fun when you don't have to turn around and head home the same day. Overnight trips are the best!

I'm sure you had a blast as that's a nice area for riding!

Congratulations. It's so nice to just go for it.

We finally got to take our RT for a spin from Ohio to New England a few months ago. We did 1780 miles in a week and no rain.

Now they are calling for some snow soon and it's in the 40s or colder.

Enjoy,
Dave

Congrats and what a beautiful little town Helen is. We went through their this past summer. Great destination road trip.

Did my first trip at beginning of Oct. 4 days up the Ca coast. I’m hooked. Can’t wait to do Montana, Colo, and everywhere else!

Congratulations. I'm sure there will be many more and longer trips. That's what the Spyder excels at doing.

My Wife and I have truly enjoyed our trips on our :spyder2:. A couple of 3 week trips, going new places and meeting new people ( Utah Pete and his wife are just starters). Spyder rallys are GREAT also.

Very Nice....

And the saga begins.... there will be many more and some longer than others but I do love the overnighters... congrats and enjoy...

I must say, I do love taking my spyder on overnight trips. We normally do 1-2 a year. Mostly about 4-5 days.
I am planning a country ride trip for 2020 that will be 6-8 weeks. This will be my first extended ride, but I am really looking forward to it. Already planning my work load for throughout 2019 so that I can make the 2020 trip happen. I will start looking at weather patterns and planning the actual route next spring.
