It was my first and am wondering if there is a way to prevent the oil from running all over the fins when changing the HCM filter? Maybe a secret password or handshake :yes: Also when I took it in for the 600 the service manager said they did not have to remove the rear panel to change the oil. Does anyone know how this is done?

There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

From SL home page, go to Forums and then click on the DIY Forum. Check out Lamonts and definitely Arntufun's they have very detailed and easy to follow videos for most everything you can do yourself. For the initial oil change (600 mile), I'd take to dealer and let them do it, check the Spyder over and make any adjustments necessary then you won't have to worry about it for the next 5,000 miles.
