First Four RT's sold at your Dealer

I put my order in Friday for a RT-SE5 & Trailer.

My dealer told me that BRP gave each dealer 4ea free,

1. Hitch for the trailer and
2. Spare wheel & tire

my dealer passed those freebies on to me.

It might be worth it to ask how many RT's with trailers, they have sold, then bring it up that you heard about the 4ea freebies

Otherwise the dealer may try to sell you a $499.00 Hitch + (I dont know how much a new wheel & tire costs, but iam sure it's not cheap) for your trailer that they got for free.

I wonder if the deal for them comes with the first 4 or after they have sold the first four?

The spare tire and wheel go for $199 and the hitch is $499 excluding installation which is a lot of work if they aren't putting the electronics on. To add the hitch wiring they have to tear the left side down to the rear trunk and take off the left side passenger handgrip and the left rear speaker to get to the connector to join the harness for the trailer wiring.

Congratulations on your deal. I suspect many dealers won't tell or negotiate.

I know that the Premiere Edition RT-622 Trailer was supposed to include the spare wheel and tire, and the trailer cover. My dealer dangled those in front of me when I was considering ordering a trailer with my PE RT-S. I don't know if that was a standard thing, or just related to a deal like this. I know I ordered a trailer hitch and it is not in yet.

Hi,

The way my dealer explained it to me was that each dealer was to receive free;

1. 4ea Hitch for Trailer
2. 4ea. Wheel & Rim for Trailer

It is a full size rim & tire that fits in the trailer, there is a spot for it that doesn't take any storage room away from the trailer according to my dealer

My dealer said that he was giving those freebies to the 1st, 4ea buyers that came in and bought both RT & Trailer together.

He said that other dealers may not be passing theirs on and may be charging for them.

I ordered the RT-SE5 in Blue with matching RT-622 trailer.

I don't think it is a Premier Edition, I believe the PE is only in Black
