There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

We are going on a ride on Saturday which is being called the Forest Gump Ride (Stupid is as Stupid Does) we are expecting a high temperature of 117 on Saturday.

Don't understand your question, let me see here, it's going to be extremely hot in your neck of the woods, and I should ride out from the beach where the high on Saturday here will be
45 d e g r e e s cooler than where I can go to get a free hot water bottle that might have all but evaporated ..........:wrong::roflblack: However not far away from here in Woodland Hills it will be 102-104, and then it's easy to go thru Topanga Canyon and hit the coast or the Rock Store.

It's a Death Valley run..."RIDE THROUGH THE FURNACE"......looking for 5 or 6 willing Spyder riders. Anytime this summer. Whatever dates we can agree on.

I rode in 100+ degree heat-- 250% humidity! :shocked: -- last summer from D.C. to northern New Jersey, much of the ride stuck in traffic on the Garden State Parkway. Took me five hours to do what I should have been able to do in not much more than 3.
Needless to say, it didn't matter what part of the Spyder was hot that day. :bbq:
Anyway, my only safety tip: wear jackets, not mesh. And spend the day *before* hydrating like you've never hydrated before, and drink down a bottle of whatever at every gas stop (or even better, pack a camelbak for the road).
Have, errr, fun? :2thumbs:
