• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Finished Canadian Rockies

Well I just finished my longest trip. From Las Vegas to the Canadian Rockies and back, 3168 miles. The sights were the best I've ever seen. I stayed in Banff while I was there. It is a tourist town but it was still a great place. I would recommend this ride to anyone who is up for the adventure and can take the mileage. I did about 250 to 450 miles each day. I was beat when I got back. I'm happy to report my 2011 RTS was just about perrrrrfect. My only glitch was a finicky cruise control switch. No break downs or flats, no limp mode, no fuses or relay troubles, no running hot. I pushed it hard and it did the job.

If you didn't drive 43 from Banff to Jasper, you'll need to plan another visit! Surly is terrific country up there. Glad you had a good time - I always enjoy riding in BC and Alberta - great roads, scenery, and people.

it's actually Highway 93. I am blessed to live in Alberta and to be able to ride these roads all the time.

Cheers

:agree: That is a fantastic area to ride. The Canadian Rockies are more impressive than the US ones with more viewable glaciers.
We plan on seeing them again next year.

I agree, this is the best looking scenery I have ever been in (IMHO) and as you can see from my map I have been in a few places.
