I pulled the trigger last weekend and bought a Ryker. It was my first test ride as well. I knew that as soon as I went to a dealer and test drove one I would not wait any longer.
I opted for the Ryker Rally mainly because I was going to be getting the two-up option anyways and it seemed to make sense over the standard 900. Also, I felt that the better shocks, clearance and suspension would do better on the New England roads. I thought the tires and higher profile rims would give me a more compliant ride.
I still want to get the sway bar though but I am holding out to see how BajaRons sway bar does.
The only options I got were the comfort seat, passenger comfort seat and the tall passenger back support. I also got it with the orange panels. I initially was planning on getting the blue but they had the orange ones on display at the dealer and they looked SO nice in person that I changed my mind.
Needless to say I am excited about picking it up.
