Hey aka, can you come up with a part number (do you still have the packaging), or should I just go and look at my local Pep Boys?
Are they two stage? That is do they work as driving and brake lights? When you press the brake do they get brighter yet?
Please note that the package says "not approved for on-road use".
Went to local Pep-boys and that is what I read.......
:gaah:
yeap. and also my hid, leo vince muffler, race air flow system and probably my anti sway bar are not approved for street use. hindles too.![]()
:2thumbs::2thumbs::ani29:i used the styrofoam to shape the pod than fiberglass over it than dug the styrofoam out and there was little styrofoam residue inside, smarty pants![]()
My HID's are approved for onroad use, the sway bar is simply thicker, and the exhausts and intakes just don't meet air quality regs.
With something as important as brake lights and turn signals, I would lean towards wanting DOT approved items.
you will get stopped for a having pulsing headlights on your bike but they are LEGAL, most of the riders I know that use them have the statue with them so less informed L E can see that.
It's a state issue.Question, do you know if having a rear brake light flash is legal or not.

I doubt it's a big problem. Mine flash--- when the turn signal is on.
It is normal if they have that light mod from Ken at EvoluzioneI saw another spyder doing that at the event. Brake light blinking alternately with signal light and was wondering if that's how it supposed to be.
Anywho, it's been 800 miles since the bulb change and still no problem:2thumbs:

spyder does not seem to care about other lights
i have replaced front markers on the fenders with white led and that was not a problem
Did you also get the marker LEDs lights from Pep boys?
And what is the part # for these?
