• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Finally did it, went with an F3-S!

I've been reading everything I can get my hands on in preparation! I'm enrolled in a MSF class in May, earliest I could get in! So I've got some time to work on building Spyder skills, and I'm looking forward to signing paperwork on Saturday.

Thanks for the advice, getting more excited to ride it every day! I'm going to sign paperwork this Saturday, and I've already get my instruction permit to be able to practice and I'm registered for a MSF class in May!

270 mile ride

Saturday I will be putting the F3-S and myself, thru a extended ride. We (Star Touring 527) are headed to Joshua Tree National Park, via a customized ride route planned by our club President. Unfortunately it is going to be hot, 90+ degrees. It will be a true test of the bikes ability to take the heat and how the suspension works out with my back bad.
So far the short trips have been fun and not to painful, hoping for a manageable level, it will be an all day event with a few stops along the way.
I'll let you know on Sunday how it went.
take care and ride safe, everyone

Paperwork signed

Now just waiting for delivery, and nicer Wisconsin weather!!! Might be a while though!!:banghead:
