• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Hmmmm, not sure I'd ever order a helmet online without putting on my noggin first. Maybe if I tried one on somewhere, and then you beat the price by a lot....maybe....
 
After talking with Dave, this sounds like it's shaping up to be one heck of deal. I'll be watching for updates.
 
Dave although this is a motorcycle message board,do you know if this helmit will have a dual lens face shield available for snowmobiling?

I don't know if it's a helmet for sledding, but you can put your head sets in your sled helmet! Wife ad I have for two years now, works ok, the boom mics work better than the little button mics, that come in the kit!!!

As far as I know these are designed for motorcycle riding use, if you have a sledding helmet I have a unit you can install into it right now, call me

Dealers aren't allowing anyone to try on helmets right now. :banghead: I'm like you. I want to try it on for fitment. Helmets are big money now. :thumbup: Tom :spyder:

How much will you be charging for shipping and handling, Dave? I've found in the past that S&H can negate much of the savings you offer over other vendors.

I'm sure Dave can look after you Fearless, but just be aware that any helmet that DOESN'T have an Australian Design Regulations Compliance sticker/label inside it (or clearly & indelibly marked on the back) isn't recognised as being legal in Australia - I've even heard people claim they've been issued Defect tickets for it!! :shocked:

Don't know about the Defect tickets bit personally, but you can be issued an ''On the Spot Fine' & told not to ride any more until you have an appropriately Approved helmet to wear! :banghead: . Pretty annoying when you're over 1000km from home & all your other (compliant) helmets! :cus:

And just for fits & giggles, that 'fine & cease riding' thing can apply even if the helmet originally came with an ADR Compliance label inside it, but that was on the liner that wore out & was replaced with a new liner, only the replacement liner didn't have another ADR Compliance sticker on it and I didn't ever consider that I might need to keep the tatty & smelly old liner with me whenever I wore that helmet just to prove that!?! :gaah:
 
I'm following, I need a helmet and com system. I'm not a SENA fan, but I'm willing to give it one more shot if the price is right.
