• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. Is BRP sending a pit crew in August? ;)
I think SethO got around 119mph so Doc's attempt ought to go OK. They will classify the modified bikes (i.e. Turbocharged) with the stock bikes. One thing I noticed with Seth's runs last year was that with that fat rear tire, the thing would climb up on the salt at around 119mph. It was like it was hydroplaining on the salt. That combined with the enormous drag meant that he wasn't going any faster. More power won't help this situation. Maybe Doc can make a couple of changes. A narrower rear tire might help. I don't know what to do about the drag.
Just my $0.02

Nahhh... Just the wrong Spyder...
I've got a fellow that I insure who SWEARS that he was clocked by the local LEOs at 137mph... I suggested to him that he head West to the Salt Flats since the record is obviously his; all he needs to do is go pick it up!

Thank you, hope to bring the record to Florida. ;)

I'll be in Durango --- might have to alter my plans and swing over to the flats.

I agree that HP is only gonna do so much---- need to work on aerodynamic changes in my opinion. Cover headlights and front wheel wells, etc.....
