• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Filling and checking rear tire pressure

So...is there a specific brand or type of air gauge...air filler that works on the rear tire valve. Ive always been able to check and fill...but what a PITA...any tips or hints out there?

I second that, same inflator / gauge I use. Allows setting the front tires to within 0.1psi of each other as well. Well made, works well.

Air guage..!!

Any of the double headed truck style work for me and I just work from th opposite side...JT has a great gadget to fill the fronts to the exact same pressure..

For what its worth -- Harley sells a little hose about 8 inches long that has a check valve in it for airing up tires -- just screw it on the stem and then use a pressure gauge or air chuck. Its really slick -- the other item which I also like and should be available from you local mounter -- are angled valve stems --

I use this & work great Joes Racing 32307 (0-60) PSI Tire Pressure Gauge amazon.com

I also carry the hose extender from Harley. You may lose about 1/2 lb when you unscrew it so I always set the pressure to +1/2 lb.
