• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Fender tip lights

I want to replace the fender tip lights and replace themwith LED lights but while searching I saw someone who left the existing fixtureand just replaced the bulb. I was wondering if you can just do it that way ordo you need to replace the entire fixture? Also if you can replace just thebulb does anyone know what bulb you use?
Thanks in advance

I just got thru installing the fender tip lights and the Front Mud flaps turning them into both running lights and signal lights. The Fender Tip Light kit from ESI comes with a choice of LEDs. Great additions to my RS as far as visability goes.

I replaced my fender tip light bulbs with amber 4-LED bulbs. No change to the fixtures were needed. I found the single LED bulbs were not bright enough. Found them at a local auto parts store.

You might consider Custom Dynamics for your fender tip lights. Another option is to contact Reggie or Steve with Tric LED.

If you want to 'tric' your fender tip lights, i.e. integrate them with turn signals, etc., then go to folks like Custom Dynamics for the kit(s) to do so. They're also happy to include the accompanying lights. Or, if you just want to change your bulbs, then MarkLawson's tip is your path to success.

I used one of Custom Dynamics' solutions to integrate my fender tips with turn signals, as well as replacing the fender reflectors with LEDs, mud flap lights, HMT brake light, etc. Alas, my fender tips still have the original bulbs, and I think I'm a-gonna go to the autoparts store and get some amber LEDs.
