• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Just joined the forum, but this what I have been up to for the past year....So my celebration reward, besides feeling fan fugging tastic, was the purchase of the 2012 RTS! And I went to Dairy Queen all the time!!!:2thumbs: No surgery, just changed to a healthy diet...low fat, whole grains, blah blah blah. Very minimal exercise at first, walking to work, then riding a bike daily, then bought a treadmill, and then joined a gym just before Thanksgiving and what difference that made. . Motivation was easy, waking up everyday being that 1/2 lb or so lighter makes it easy not to cheat.

170 lbs lost in a year!!! Started at 385.6 the day before Valentine's last year, 215.6 this morning.

Never had a goal weight in mind, but I guess this is it for now! Here are some numbers..

Waist 64 to 38
Shirt 5xl to Large
Shoe, yes shoe 13 to 12
and I need all new hats!!!!

Congratulations!! :2thumbs::2thumbs:
But now there's less of you to love... :roflblack:
Oh! :welcome:too!

:thumbup::congrats: I know the feeling! The hard part is to keep it off. I'm working with my wife on going back to where we were before moving to Memphis. But I agree... watch what you eat, and move your body on a good pace to were you feel for it. As the pounds go off, the better you feel and the more you do!

Again, :congrats: and :welcome:

:congrats: Great to see!!! I burn 430 Calories every day on a Arc Trainer and am pretty much a Vegan since I retired 9 years ago..
Whey Protein, vegies, Salads, Tuna , Vitamins and a couple B12 sprays each morning and feel great!!
The Lucky people realize diets Don,t work BUT a Healthy Style of eating that Slowly gets rid of Saturated Fat, Sugar and Salt is the best route to success! IMHO:roflblack:

Congrats on the loss. Have lost 50# in the past year myself so know what an accomplishment you have made. For me it has been about portion control.

That is so true. I eat every 3 hours (5 times a day) about 340 calories.

We have a hard time eating out because of all the salt the automatically put on the food!!!! It just tastes nasty.

That is a very good accomplishment that you can be pround of. :congrats: Many of us are struggling with to much weight.

:welcome::congrats:on your accomplishment! I really admire people with the fortitude to do what you have done! Will also make that Spyder a lot snappier!

:congrats:losing wt. is very hard to do to some people. My son is on raw food diet and eat 5 x a day too. We are what we eat and most overweight people suffer from bad knees, feet and diabetes and high blood pressure which the worst. To all:spyder2: riders lets try to be healthy so we can enjoy our :spyder2:.

You have done really awesome and congratulations! A 'diet' is definitely a four-letter word around this house. We both try to portion control, eat more healthy, and I've recently joined a gym. We also use the Wii and Kinect. I just want to look better on my Spyder!! :dg1:

Very Good! Can't congratulate you enough on your turn-a-round.

But I have one question... Is the cat still happy?
