• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. First Monday

:coffee: Welcome back to the Spyder World.

Indiana has been hit with a ton of rain/snow over the weekend......:ohyea:
We got just over 3" of Snow and enjoying the new scenery in White.

High today only 28°F with some snow. Low 19°F.

:shemademe_smilie: ...Oh yeah, Ground Hog Day is February the 2nd...

Down here in the Adelaide Hills of South Oz, last week we had temps up over 38°C/100°F, and this week, while it's not quite so hot anymore, it is dumping a lot of the leftover rain that's blown down from the cyclones that hit the North of the country last week! Good thing I can ryde in the rain! :ohyea:

Hope it's not too cold & wet over your way!

Valley Springs AR: Started off the morning in the hot tub. 30 degrees. Mostly cloudy and a cutting wind.

Another good day to hunker down and relax. Have to get the license plates for the new 2020 this week. My temp tag expires the 7th.

Forecast for Apache Junction,AZ today is partly cloudy with a high of 74.:ohyea:

Next door here in Mesa it is mostly cloudy. No rain. Just clouds. Looks like good riding weather for the foreseeable future. Temperatures ranging from the high 60s to mid 70s for the next ten days..... Jim

Not getting the riding in that I had planned. Purchased a 1984 mobile home in AJ and in the process of redoing it from the outside studs in. Currently installing drywall ceilings and then the walls. Have to be ready when the new kitchen cabinets, counter top and appliances arrive at the end of the month.

Hi everyone in Spyder land,

Here in the North east a major winter storm has landed. It will be a long and dragged out snow storm, they are forecasting up to 2 feet of snow. They are advising people to stay home in New Jersey, and New York per there governors, i saw this on my local news channel.

Here in Vermont as of now ( in the part of Vermont where I am it has not started to snow as of 8:41 pm. ) We are supposed to get 4 to 8 inches of snow. The snow is starting in the southern part of Vermont, and heading north. The temps this week in the 30's to 40's. https://www.wcax.com/2021/02/01/snowstorm-coming-what-about-roads-schools-vaccine-appointments/

The snow storm is suppose to last until Wednesday, then we we get a break on Thursday, On Friday we will get an other storm, this is supposed to bring some milder temps, and rain, sleet, freezing rain.

Here in the Nevada back country we had a couple of snowy days over the past week. All is melted off the roads, the only thing keeping my Spyder in the garage today is the 6" or so of the white stuff still on my driveway... it's crushed rock so shoveling really isn't in the cards. It's supposed to be in the 50's next weekend... time to ryde!

Tuesday

:coffee: Today is 'Groundhog Day' and the second of February. Now that's out of the way.......:shemademe_smilie:

This morning it was 21°F and sunny.

Snow Report... Indiana....2"

Today only 30°F with some clouds, low of 19°F.

Have a great Tuesday. ......

We're dealing with 25 inches of fresh snow -- on top of 8 or 9 we had already -- that fell in the last 48 hours in the Catskill Mountains of upstate New York.

Not being a skier, I am not enjoying it very much.

Valley Springs AR: Happy Ground Hog Day. He did not see his shadow until 10:00 or so today.

Started the AM with 28 degrees. It got to 40 by 5:00 PM or so.

Maybe a ride tomorrow. :bbq:

Over here in Vermont, it is still snowing, it is light and fluffy, and the wind is blowing. We get a break on Thursday. Then an other storm system on Friday and Sat. The temps will be a bit warmer, in the 40's and they are forecasting rain, sleet, and freezing rain. Then on Sunday an other storm system.

(Off Topic: the storms are great for the skiers, and any out door activity, snowmobilers are in there glory! including my self. The snowmobile season is short. ) Back on Topic.

Got February ride in early again this year. About 90 miles. Sheridan Lake (frozen over), view from Miner’s brewery on 385. Harney Peak in the background.

It hit 82 degrees today. The temperature seems to ALWAYS exceed the forecast. I do hope this does not continue into the summer. Tomorrow's ride will include a little mountain riding. As it warms up we almost always ride into the mountains for cooler weather. This time of year going up into the mountains is a rare treat. A week ago it was snowing in the mountains. This week it is 70 degrees. Go figure..... Jim

Sunshine Wednesday

:coffee: Starting with sunshine and some clouds 25°F.

Snow Report..... Indiana.......2" ...but melted.

Healthy Day to you. .......

San Francisco Bay Area, mid 50's getting into the 60's the next 10 days, occasional scattered showers. I'm riding
