• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

FBB orNBV highway pegs

I have other brackets that moved my feet further forward. I removed them, and opted for a bit less stretch.

How tall are you Bob? The other brackets, what mfg. are they? I was looking for something to go past the black deflecters so as to not interfer with the floorboard brake away feature. Being 6'2" I just need something so I can stretch my legs.

I'm about as average cab get: 5'10", and a 31" inseam.
Baker offers two different brackets for mounting the pegs, You can hook them together, for a more forward position.
That's how mine came, but I didn't need quite that much "stretch".

If somebody needs my extra brackets: PM me!

I started with the floor board ones and I clamped them on as a mock-up to see how they would work before I mounted them. Realizing that they would spread my legs out to far to be comfortable I worked out a deal to trade them for the NVB. I then made my own foot pegs out of 1/2" round aluminum bar stock drilled and tapped them and covered them with bicycle hand grips. This way I could get the pegs as close to the Spyder panels as possible. I am 5'8" with a 30" inseam. If I need to stretch out my legs I rest my heals on the pegs.

foot pegs

Does anyone have them on a 2013 year or below. The 998 engine gives off a lot of heat, and my right foot get warm. Since the 2013 heat recall, seems like I have a lot cooler spyder, but more hot air passing out the right vent where my foot is! What do you recommend, and where can I buy them?

FBB

Pam, I don't know how tall you are but didn't the FBB pegs just spread your legs to far out? Is it comfortable in that position for a long time? I have been kicking it around as to which ones to buy, since I'm 6'2" I need the extra distance to stretch my legs but not sure if I would like to have my legs spread apart that far. Thanks in advance.

I recently saw a couple of pictures where the FBB pegs were turned IN towards the bike rather than out and away (so the bolt is on the outside of the bracket rather than the bike side). In this position, they do not look much different in position than the NBV pegs.

All the best .... Ann
