Faults galore

2008 rt..wife brings it down to gas up. Comes home, everything is in Fault mode. ABS,VSS,BDB? LIMP MODE..What the heck happened? Thanks for any help.
Friend said to disconnect the battery for 24 hrs and see if itbteboots..idk.
Closest dealer is half a state away . Uggg!

Check condition of battery…..state of charge.
Check for clean and tight battery connections.

:welcome: .... You don't have to wait that long ( 15 min. ) also after you dis-connect touch the pos. & negative together, then re-assemble assing STAR washers to the terminals ... Good luck ... Mike :thumbup:... PS I got in the habit of ALWAYS removing the key when parked ... even in my garage .... put the keyat least 6 in. from the ignition switch

What is the reason for removing key when parked in garage? I've always kept my key in there, am I doing something wrong?

Please explain why you feel it is important to ALWAYS remove the key and put the key at least 6 in. from ignition switch.
Since 2012, I have always left the key in the ignition, while secure in my garage, sometimes for a few weeks. I often leave the key in the ignition when I meet-up with other riders, while we are standing around talking. This can last 30 min. or more. I have had no problems with either my 2012 or 2014 RT Ltd's.

Bumming.... battery had 12.34. I topped of with fresh charge.Cleaned everything Installed and exact same issues.
I call the service shop I guess Monday.
This hurts, between tires, tune up and new rear hub and bearing, 2 grand in this last two seasons. And here we are dead.

I don't know if it will or not but I had some similar whith errors pointing everywhere. At the end the problem was the left habdlebar control. Mine is an f3 ltd 2018 but the crazy behaviour is similar. Hope this helps.

Before you go too far with the troubleshooting, put a new battery in it. Low voltage will cause lots of errors to pop up. Batteries do also go bad internally.

Just something different for computer:dontknow: but does help throughly going through start up process quicker than battery reboot.
