• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Fast Spyder?

What's the speedo differential on the Spyder again? Because I got it up to 100 once on the highway just to see triple digits, but that's what the *speedo* said, so I'm positive that wasn't really 100...

Set up ur speedometer to metric, and you be riding on three digits most of the time ;)..and save the time @ court and the $$

Staying with Doc can be a real experience! I don't know how Forrest does it! :yikes:

You're talking about the OLD Lamont... He's turned over a new leaf. He's Mr. Speed Limit these days. Something about fines and insurance rates or some such.

Now in the old days I agree. We did 130 mph on a freeway on ramp getting onto I-40 one day. When we stopped I asked him why 130 mph on an on ramp. He said 'Because it was too short to go any faster!'.

Those days may be over though.

have had mine to 110mph once (just getting away from people who were not driving well and wanted them WAY in the rear view) and once to 111mph (just because it was over 105 degrees and wanted a little wind to dry the sweat more).
both times i maintained the speed for less than 1 full minute and also did not mean to get that high to start with but when i looked down to see i immediately thought "man! this thing isn't even straining!" and then proceeded to coast back down to the 75-80 range.

Cyncy, consider yourself invited to ryde with Florida x-Press any time!

I'd rather be gawking at the scenery than watching the numbers climb on the dash anyway.

I'm with you Bob. Mine shrank sometime ago and that was from choice.

"He said: "I apologise for wasting court time."It is not an excuse but I had just separated from my wife and I was not offered a fixed penalty by the officer who pulled me over.""

I'm sure once the divorce proceedings get rolling he will get that spyder to at least 125mph:roflblack:

Take the Spyder to Bonneville or a similar Officially Timed Run, Then post your top speed.
There is no Bravado with an O T R. :)
