• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Farewell my friends...

I've decided to sell Lil' Pumpkin :yikes:

She's being "adopted" by a soon to be 2-Spyder family. I've had the opportunity to put 20 000 km on my Spyder in less than two years and for the most part I must say it was a hoot!

The steering scare I experienced in May, missing out on Americade in June and VTRider's Northern Vermont trip in August (because of overheating issues) were the last straw for me.

I've had the pleasure of meeting many Spyderlover members in person and hope to meet many more of you fine folks in the future .....even though I'll be one wheel short ;) because I have replaced Lil' Pumpkin with a used 2008 HD Softail Deluxe.

I will always have a soft spot for Spyders.....and will keep lurking on this forum.

Here is a pic of my new ride.....she is nameless for the moment but I'm sure something will come to mind soon enough :D

Au revoir - ride safely !

Monique

Sad to hear you are selling your Spyder, but glad to hear you have a new ride already. Just because you no longer have a Spyder, doesn't mean you are kicked out of the club, so keep in touch.

Glad to see that your :spyder2: has found a new home. :congrats: on your new ryde. Hope to meet you on the road sometime. :doorag:

That is a fine new ride! I'm sure there are many miles of pleasure coming for you on that baby!

So, sad the Spyder couldn't cut for you but don't be a stranger. We are still here! Be safe; remember you are missing a wheel now! :roflblack:

Best of luck and safe riding, I'm sure that you have many miles ahead. For myself, even though they're a bit "quirky", I'll stick to my 3 wheeled :spyder2:.:spyder2:
