• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

HELP!
going on a trip, got a tire pressure/inflator for travel. Hooks up only to a 12 volt connector. Plug it in and it don't work! Works on car so not the new machine. I just replaced the fuse verifying correct choice by 2 dealers in area. The 12 volt plug STILL DOESN'T WORK! UGH! I plugged in a phone, 1st into my car and it connected for a charge. Tried it in Spyder, NOPE, no power at all. Suggestions? Ideas? Is the factory 12 volt replaceable??

UPDATE: In the process of speaking to power sports it was suggested that yet another fuse was blown. I did find one so replaced it! The tire inflator worked but once I tried to add air to tire, It blew the fuse!! I'm guessing faulty inflator? I dunno but I'm returning it. Probably a reason in 5 years I never used the 12 volt plug on Spyder???

Spydies typically have a 3.5 amp fuse on their 12V outlets - the compressors use about 6-10 amps depending on model. I recommend using a SAE plug wire set to the battery, and change out the lower amp fuse (typically found in a battery tender harness) with a 10 amp fuse, or just use the battery clips directly to the battery terminals if needed.

The Quick fix
found most as seen on tv in Walmart, just keep battery charged:thumbup: i like mine & the fact can swap to use cig plug if the battery is low. As to why your cig plug has issues, careful not to go above a 10A fuse MAX. 7A is plenty for most every 12 device & casual use

Get a compressor with battery clips and be done with it. No bike wiring necessary. If you get a compressor with it's own battery, it will never be charged when you need it. That's Murphy's law.:D
