• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

F4 Windshield information needed

Hey KJWEB

i am trying to decide on whether to get a 21" or 23" F4 for my F3. I am 6' with 33 inseam. I have the Tallboy on now but the buffetting is bad. How do you find the 21"? Had you tried the Tallboy first? Thanks SIERRA24

Here we are 4 years and three Spyders later and I am still loving F4 Windshields. They make a great product and have great service, i also now have their windshield wings and love them.

Sierra, which model F3 do you have? Since you are looking at F4, I would advise contacting F4CUSTOMS directly. Don Frank, the owner, is a member here. They have a huge amount of experience in ensuring that you get exactly the right height screen for your needs.

Cruzr Joe:
I have an F4 adjustable 28" on my F-3 and while I can't comment on
the 25", I can comment on the quality. A windshield manufactured from PolyCarbonate
will stand the test of time.
You can't go wrong with an F4.

I am considering an F4 25" windshield for my new F3 Limited, any one have any experience with this windshield and can you comment on it?

Cruzr Joe

I've had one on my 2017 F3-Ltd for close to 3 yrs now. Love it and have had no problems (the clearest and hardest material you can get for a windshield). I added the "hand wings" and they were a blessing for cold rides and rain! Also they are nice to add a little air flow (opened up) during the hot months. A plus all the way.

Hahaha......and now we move into the major problem with resurrecting old threads. Some are responding to the question asked by Sierra a couple of days ago, and some haven’t checked the dates and are responding to Cruzr Joe’s original thread question from 2016.

It would be worthwhile starting a new thread for your question, Sierra. .....

......and Rotax, just be wary with sizes. The different F3 models require different height screens to provide similar coverage. The tallest F4 for the Limited and T is 25” while the S screens are taller.
