There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. I am considering an F4 25" windshield for my new F3 Limited, any one have any experience with this windshield and can you comment on it?

THIS IS FROM 2016

F-4 WINDSHIELD

Joe, I don't have an F3 but I have had a F-4 wide+tall on my RT-S for almost a year now, It Is the best windshield I have ever had In my forty some years of motor cycling. It has been cleaned hundreds of times and still looks brand new, I don't think you can go wrong with an F-4 windshield. When I trade up next year to a newer RT that windshield Is going with me.. See you next year at SF.. Dave

F4

I have the F4 on my 2015 F3 and one of the best features is that I do not experience any back pressure even at speeds "in the higher ranges".
Very durable and comes tinted.
Highly recommended.

I have an F4 25" on my F3-L. It works well for me. So much better than the lipped screen that came with the F3 that directed everything at my head and chest. I am 6'7" and my eye level is about 3" over the top of the screen (although overall height is not as relevant as torso height).

F4 has some great videos on selecting screen height and there are a few threads on here re torso heights for the different height screens.

Plus, you clean it easily with Windex and paper towels with no impact on the screen. Great product and thoroughly recommended.

......and the Nelson Rigg travel cover (also called "half cover") for the RT fits the F3 with 25" F4 screen perfectly. It MUST be the RT travel cover, not the F3 travel cover.

Joe I have the F4 on my F3 Limited. It is by far the best shield you can buy. And it cleans so easy. Tom :spyder:

They make a great windshield and bracket system. I'm 5'8" and got the 28" unit tinted. It works quite well up to 65-70 mph.. after that I got head buffeting....
So I added a
MRA X-Creen Tour Variable Windscreen Spoiler Blade

From Revzilla. I got the clamp-on unit and it is FANTASTIC. You can adjust however you like, both height and angle and then easily pop it off. This is what I'll be using while on the highway.. but then pull it off for around town. Best of both worlds.

I don't think even the 32" F4 will get rid of all head buffeting... you need something with an upcurl to totally get rid of it.

The F4 is quality made, doesn't seem to scratch easily.. and looks great on the Spyder F3.

The scratch resistance is phenomenal. The wide one really cuts down the wind on you. Good if you have a pax who wants less wind. Bad if you want wind for cooling. I have the tall & wide one. Thinking about having F4 cut it to stock width as I ride solo. I have Baker Air Wings & BRP adjustable deflectors. The t & w one cuts gas mileage a little, I think, but how much I don't know.

F4 Customs for the F3

We are in Daytona and just installed the Baker Air Wings for the F3 Touring model for a fellow rider. They look great and Bruce has told me they work great as well. We have them in stock and have free shipping. Sorry not on our web site yet so you will have to call to order since we are at Daytona and Panama City for motorcycle rally events.

Thank You!

Met up with Don in Daytona to get the 32" shield installed yesterday. The ride home was hotter, but a lot easier on the neck and shoulders. It didn't get rid of all the buffeting but I was able to ride most of the time with my visor up and sun visor down and no headaches!. I have to look through the shield....clarity is great and the rain drizzle we hit shed off the shield easily.

We also enjoyed the chance to chat with Don and Kim - great people! Maybe we'll see you again in PC!

I received my 21" tinted F4 windshield today. I'm 6' and glad I went with 21". The 25" would have been right in line with the eyesight.
