F3T Mirror shake

Hello everyone. I was having a problem with my mirrors shaking on my 2016 F3T. I did a lot of searching on different threads and decided to check out you tube. I found a video on how BMW fixed a Canam and checked it out. It was a technician (Shawn Smoak) on the video had some O rings and placed them on the two post and tightened up the screw. Now I ran down to Ace hardware and bought 4 "o" rings (sized 1/16 thick and .2222 inside diameter) .69cent each and put them on. Tomorrow I am out for a long ride and will update on the results and mileage. Fingers crossedray:ray:ray:

Bought and installed the Mirror Wedgies from Squared Away. I love em, no more shakes at all. Easy to install too.

When I bought my F3L, I took it from the shop directly to Joe and Ann's place... Had them do lots of mods. One of them was their Mirror Wedgies. Have not ever experience the mirror shakes! Thanks Joe and Ann!

I tried the tape. Helped very little. You can still move the entire mirror housing. The 3 mounting points get loose. The wedgie completely stills the hole unit. Thanks again Joe!

It worked. no more shaking. Tightened the mirror and placed o rings and solved my shaking mirrors. Went for an 81 mile ride and could use the mirrors and see what was behind me. Dont know for how long this will work but will let you all know.
