• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I must be blind. I've looked in my owner's manual, downloaded a shop manual, looked through this forum - and I see no instructions on how to adjust the rear air shock for 2 up riding. :banghead:

Help please?

Oh, and while you're at it - how do you adjust the BRP backrest?

Must be Monday... :yikes:

pressure

i way 280 and run 40 lbs in mine it is all up to your riding comfortably or two up but never ride with no air not good on the bag

Thank-you Fatboy...

What are the correct pressures? where do you find the info? It's like the double secret thing...

Look under the seat. It will tell you the pressure to use as to the weight you are. Settings for single and 2 up are there. Tom :spyder:

Air shock and BRP backrest adjustments

Okay - I found the valve for the air shock. For those who don't know the lingo (as I didn't) this is called the ACS system. You add air just like adding air to a tire. I found mine was set at Zero (sigh). I was surprised at quickly the rear of the bike came up when adding air. I adjusted to 30 psi and will go for a wee ride to see how that feels.

The adjustment for the backrest - remove the rear seat and pull up on the backrest. It comes right out. You have to unzip the cover (use a paperclip as there are no taps) and fold the backrest down. You will see a screw - screw it out for a more forward position, screw it in for a more back position. I didn't see anything that looked like a lumbar support adjustment, but didn't take it completely apart.

The things you learn by knowing (eventually) the right questions to ask.
