There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. F3L side bag/glove box not shutting/staying closed - any fix ideas?

My Brand new 2022 F3L has issues with the side bags and glove box shutting/closing and staying closed. Could not even key to lock one side bag as it would not close enough for that. Was riding down road and it popped open; the Rear Cargo flag came down on the dash display and scared me to death. Is there a way (cable maybe?) to tighten up the lock mechanisms on the side bags? Perhaps I can order a new clip for glove box... not sure about that? I HATE having to drive 55+ miles to a dealer for this. And parts may not come in for a while... there goes my riding summer.

Sometimes I've had trouble closing the rear side case on my F3L. I'm not sure why. Once I had something protruding that didn't quite fit. The other time, after wiggling and re-trying for about 10 minutes I got it shut. This latch seems a bit finicky at best.

GWHIZZ,

I have a brand new 2023 F3 LTD Special try pushing- in on the side bags when you close them/or open them to see if that helps.
On the glove box, try using some Vaseline on the knob (under the glove box door) that closes the glove box and put a small dab on the hole that the knob goes into. See if that works.

Have a 2022 F3L Limited and need to help push a little when closing side lids then give a little tug to make sure it is closed. Sometimes one thinks it is closed but a bump can jar open. Happened in FL. with 2020RTL one time.

Finicky is not the word, nor the quality expected for a brand new bike.

Dealer could pull their crap and then say that I caused the problem...I personally will not try to fix anything on a brand new bike.

I have the exact same bike & issue. I found that I push up on the door as I close it they latch securely and stay shut. YMMV

Ok, I will try that! but I still have the glove box issue where it flaps in the wind when I do faster than 50mph.

OK. Last month I just bought a brand new spyder, and I am having an issue with the rubber part behind the passenger back rest. I am going to let the dealership take care of it.

What problem are you having with it? Mine looks funny, but I have not ridden in rain yet...I hope it seals from water correctly!

My glove box didn't want to close at first. The dealer made a little adjustment, now it closed. But I have to push straight down fairly hard on the front where the latch is to get the latch to close and lock it down.
