• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

F3-T: Accessing the Rear Tire Valve

Thanks for that link. But, after reading some of the reviews, I wonder whether it's a good idea to leave it on the valve stem. Some say that it destroyed the valve stem, and another says that it's puts the tire out of balance.Thoughts?

Yeah, that's why I was asking if anyone had tried it.

Tricks

My 2016 F3-T has permanent non-removable (as far as I can tell) storage bins on each side of the back seat.

These make it difficult to get to the rear tire to even simply check the tire pressure. So, does anyone know of any tricks to gain access to the rear tire valve more easily? I'm an old fart who isn't able to get down to floor level and back up that easily. I can get to the front tire valves OK of course, but the rear tire is too long a reach for me.

Thanks.

Back the Spyder up on a car ramp. Thus, giving you better access. Also, when the tire wears out, replace the valve stem with a right-angled valve stem.

 Tire valve access on a Touring F3?

Go check the rear tire pressures on a couple of RTs, and then be thankful for what you've got! :banghead:

I'm inclined to agree with you. One of the products states clearly that it's for steel stems only, not the rubber ones. I'm going to check into Blue Knight's solution.
