• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

F3 Spark Plugs Are Not Your Friend!

I've done a bunch of RT spark plug changes and it's not easy. I was hoping the F3 would be better, but this is how much stuff you have to remove to get to them...

Yep looks about right...:D:D:D

My analysis of the service manual and examination of the coils say BRP uses a standard Kettering system, not a CDI nor an ignitor. Your analysis?

In theory it's still a Kettering system, not CDI. Can Am refers to it as a Digital Induction Ignition System since all aspects are controlled by the ECU. An interesting difference between the F3 and the RT, is that the F3 has a capacitor at each ignition coil for noise suppression and the RT does not.

Been there done that, hated it! It will be the last time I need to do it thank goodness. But this post just gave me flashbacks and I think I need a drink, oh wait, I don't drink... :helpsmilie:
