F3-S Pickup is set for Friday

Just got a call from my dealer that my bike is just about done with the accessories. Windshield, Garmin 590 and 12v plug. Just got off the phone with my insurance company to add the new bike to my motorcycle policy. I am very happy with GoodSam/National General on my coverage. I now have three bikes with them. Girlfriends 2011 RSS, 2003 Harley Duece and now the F3-S.....all three bikes $583.00 a year. I will be picking up Friday....Can't wait.

I also had the Blue Ridge installed. I am very happy with the protection provided. There are a few areas of distortion on the windscreen. One area about 1" down from the top due to the slight forward roll of the screen and one area by the bracket attachment points. The screen is depress to create a recess for the mounting brackets. The distorted area is about 3" wide at the top of the bracket and about 9" wide at the bottom. I am 5'10" and the distortion around the brackets only comes into play if looking at the ground right in front of the bike looking to the left or right. I put a tape on the ground and the distortion at the top of the screen is 10' for me and would obviously be different for shorter or taller ryders. Even with this I am still happy with my purchase.

Thanks Lamont. Whit shipped out the Cat bypass, because your comment you made in another string about the sound with stock pipe sold it for me. Just gonna wait to see what aftermarket exhaust systems come flowing out for the F3.

Even with this I am still happy with my purchase.

My STL 2014 was the same (but the BRP already discontinued that windshield because of distortion). At beginning, it gave me headache, then I completely forgot that it exist. Never change it. One of the things that your body cope and adapt to it.

I have yet to see my F3 with the Blue Ridge until I am able to pick up, but the dealer sent me a few pictures and it seems very clear, and without any distortion, but we will see Friday.

You need to talk to your dealer. . . .

. . . mine arranged 65 degrees and clear skies for my pickup. And, I don't think they charged me extra for that.
