• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. F3 Rear Tires

I am at 10,500 miles on my stock Kenda tire. I expect to get at least another 5,000 miles. I will post pictures when I finally decide to get a new rear tire. So if I get at least 15,000 miles out of a stock Kenda tire, don't you think that is good? How many miles do you think you should get out of a motorcycle tire?

If I can get 30k mi. out of a automobile rated tire for less than $100, I'm going with an auto tire Every time.
And since the Spyder doesn't lean, I don't see where it needs a "motorcycle" tire.

Question - have you ever seen a tire that looks like the Kenda tire on a Stock Motorcycle ????? …….. No, because the Kenda is a CAR tire... The Kenda has a " J" type bead and that is what ALL car wheels use...….. Annnnnnnnnnnnd on the Kenda sidewall it states " for special Mtc. use only "...which isn't what it says on all REAL Mtc. tires ………….. Not jmho ….. Mike

Goodyear New 215/60R15 Goodyear Assurance CS Tripletred AS 93T Ebay $85 This will be the best thing you can do for your Spyder. I have already put 30,000 miles on one, and about to order another.

Well I'm back and I got over 10,000 miles on the Yokohama S Drive tire. Now it's time to buy another rear tire. I have mixed feelings about this tire. I have to admit that 70% of the time, I was riding 2-up and pulling a trailer. When I'm on it by myself I can light-up the back tire quite easily even though it's 6ES, so some of the mileage I left at a traffic signal. :doorag: Any suggestions on buying another one or something new?
