F3 Rear seat isn't "sitting" correctly after fitting arm-rests - What am I missing?

Removed the passenger seat to install the passenger arm rests. Went to put the passenger seat back into place and it seems really loose. There's a noticeable gap between the underside of the seat and the seal it would normally sit on. I can see into the underside of the seat. It doesn't rest in the same position as it did before I removed it. Seems to unlatch with the key turn, but something isn't right. What am I missing? Search function didn't help and videos make it seem like its installed with just a push. But the gap around the underside of the seat has me worried.

2023 F3 limited....Sorry for missing that the first time!

I tried removing the tool pouch, turning the key while pressing on the seat, sitting on the seat, and driving it around the block. Still no luck.
