F3 Gas cap question Do you know?

Does anyone know if a 2015 F3 gas cap assy will fit on a 2016 F3 Special Series? I have a customer who wants to ship us a 2015 F3 gas cap assy so we can make a real carbon fiber gas cap cover kit. The listing says it will only fit a 2015 but I have a hard time believing that BRP would make a whole new gas cap for 2016 models. Can anyone shed some insight on this..?

I had a 2015 and now a 2016. They appear to be identical to me. JMHO

Slow....

They tend to be slow on updates to parts when a new model comes out. I know cheapcycleparts.com has many of the 2016 parts breakdown pictures missing still on their list though they have the part numbers listed. I agree they will not change the cap even if some folks have trouble closing them....:thumbup:
