F3 frame vs top case

Hi,

for those who have added a rack and a top case on your F3, did you know that in 2017, the F3 Limited that comes with the top case have a new parts that is in place to ensure that the rear is strong enough ?

That part come also with the top case kit if you buy it for an F3T.






the rear part of the F3 frame is only bolted on the front part. It looks like BRP consider that the frame is not made for the added weight of the top case and what can be put inside of it.

I attached my wife's top case to the bracket for her side cases and those are attached to where the rear grab bars go. She doesn't carry passengers anyways.

That is very similar to the frame brace BRP installed on all 2015 F3 under recall.
