F3 bars on 2021 RT base model?

Hello. I've read a bunch of information on some of you who have upgraded your stock handlebars on your 2020 RT/RT-L bikes to the F3 bars, but I haven't found any information as of yet on the 2021 RT base model and whether F3 bars will fit it. The dealer says no but I'd rather ask someone who's already done it. I was looking to buy the F3 Attitude bars and can get them for around $60 but again, dealer says they won't fit my 2021 RT.

Anyone know if they'll fit?

Thank you. I don't think I'll mind the change of wrist angle. I think I'll stop by the local dealer who has them discounted and see if they'll work for me. Again, thanks.

This is a vague memory-- The attitude bars may hit the console without a riser in place. I've got the Lamonster riser with F3 bars on my 2020 and I'm quite comfortable.

I have the (ordered from BRP) the short reach bars for my 2021 s2s RT and they fit great a bit to short reach, but still ok. I went to the dealer to see if there was something a bit shorter (in between stock and short reach bars) they said the F3 bars would work. I measured the ones on the F3 they had in store and they are the same as the RT short reach bars. Same bars I'm guessing.

they will fit the attitude bars just change your wrist angle

Fatboy, do you have the Attitude bars fitted, or seen them fitted? I only ask as I am sure I read somewhere that the F3 bars will fit the 20/21 RTs except for the attitude bars.

Pete

I bought the 2" riser from lamaonstergarage last year but I was hoping to get bars that were more 2 wheel bike style. I had a cruiser years ago and the style of the bike and the bars were very comfortable. The F3 short bars however are way too close for my liking.

no i wouldnt know why the only diff is the angle at bar end which comes back more like a cruiser

I think it was the same reason that Buttersmooth mentioned above…..without risers the Attitude bars will contact the ‘20/21 tank as they are lower, and the tank shape is different to previous. That’s why I was asking if you actually had them, to put that claim to bed:dontknow:

I have the attitude bars on my 2020 RTL. Fit perfectly, do not hit anywhere. I bought them specifically to change my wrist angle and will not change them back for anything!!

@ Jetfixer: Could you please post a side view of your spyder?

I replaced the original handlebar with one from the Spyder F3 because with full steering lock the stock handlbar touches my upper leg. The F3 handlebar solved this problem but now I am facing another issue: Since I am 6″4 tall, the handlebar is now too close to my upper body. Now I am wondering what would fit best: the long reach (219400910) oder the Attitude (219400911) handlebar?

Regards,
Alex

HeliBars Horizon HSTX handlebars, 2015+ Can Am F3 & 2020+ RT is a good option. Keep your original bars and swap back if you ever sell the bike.

1. Yes they fit. I have done it
2. The new adjustable riser is very cool. I did one of those last week. The dealer said it did not fit. It does. It comes with a flat drag style bar, but the stock bars fit on it. You have to clip a couple of zip ties to free up wires.
3. For most people, the Stock F3 bar works great. I’m blessed as I get to play with just about everything. Some combination of bars and risers will fit - but, each has to figure out what works for them. Joe

Well, I finally stopped procrastinating and bought the bars. I think with the 2" riser I already have, they'll be really comfortable. Thanks for all your help.

So I ordered the attitude bars a few days ago. Just received an email that it's no longer available from that store. However, I did find another place that had 1 left so I ordered it, and it is $32 cheaper because shipping is free. Can't wait to get them on.

I'm thinking this view is what you want to see to tell how far back the bars are?
