There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. F3 and BRP

I'm thinking BRP is putting a lot of faith in the F3 touring and limited to pay their bills.

Even though i love the F3 i'm not seeing it from how the people reacted last year when they came out.

WHAT'S EVERYONES THOUGHS ??????:dontknow:

I like the way they designed the rear of them but I don't think that is enough storage for a touring model.
That said I still love my F3S. I wanted BRP to design items that could work on our existing F3's but I guess they didn't think of that.
I hope that find success and continue to advance the F3's, because they handle a lot better then the other models, at least the ones I tested.
That is my 2 cents.....

Well, for me I think us F3 owners were just asking for a larger wind shield and quality removable saddlebags. But now the F3 is turning into a cross between the RT and ST. Not what I wanted to see but I am sure there will be many that love the change.

No worries as long as ppl like the F3 platform there will be enough aftermarket companies that will pick up the ball and run with it. IMHO.

Love our STS but the new F3 looks are starting to grow on me. Don't like the idea of a smaller trunk but understand the reason.

I think they missed the boat on the design of the saddlebags on the touring model. They are so small you would really need to pull a trailer if you want to take more than one pair of undies on a trip. If you don't plan to tow anything I think you can get more storage with aftermarket bags. I personally don't like the forward controls so I wouldn't consider buying one in any style.

I like the 2015 style better than the new one. Personally, I could travel for 2 weeks with the OEM saddle bags and a small back seat bag. My complaint was quality of the bags. I do prefer the forward controls.

Due to the length of time for tooling and production, this change was in the launch plan from the beginning with the 'touring' models. It is not a knee jerk quick response to current owner complaints or opinions.

I was definitely not a fan of the F3 when it came out. I didn't like the looks of the front, and didn't like the lack of storage in the frunk. Then the intro of the F3T got my attention, but I still think the bags are too small. Now I am seeing deals on the 2015 F3 SM6 for as low as $14,500. So, I am thinking that you could actually purchase one at that price and still have enough to purchase a nice set of Corbin bags to go along with it. They would increase storage capacity, and add to the bike in the looks department too. If I did not have my 2014 RT, I would be all over that, but in an effort to encourage my wife to ride with me, I will be sticking with my RT and getting another 2 wheeler for those times when I want to ride and travel alone.

While I like the idea of the bike; it just lacks any serious storage capacity... :banghead:
When you try to make a product do everything...

... it usually excels at nothing! nojoke

Pretty

The F3 touring model is really pretty, and I live the looks, but the storage is minimal at best. The frunk is small and the side bags are maybe big enough for that 1 pair of undies, a sweatshirt and a shaving kit. So even though it is billed as a touring model, you won't be touring far!

" Now I am seeing deals on the 2015 F3 SM6 for as low as $14,500---."

So, pray tell, where is a REAL DEAL like that, that isn't a scam: Dealers adding a few thousand to that in additional fees.

Out the door pricing is all that matters.

As I see it..!!

All manufacturers expect their new line to be a big seller. The F3 had a good start and they are banking on it with the new additions. Would not have called it a tourer more like a sport touring model. That overnight maybe weekend type. Hope they do well...I will stick with my RS and a backpack....

Bob is right on when he says that trying to make one model do everything is not the way to go. Every iteration is not going to be a winner because it is just the basic model with add ons.

I was not gung ho on the initial F3 introduction. I like the looks of the LTD--but if you look at cost/benefit, it is way over priced. Am interested, but a test drive will be in order before I make any changes.

People either like or NOT, when it comes to F3. I don't need another new :spyder2:. Both my RT's are paid for, so I could live without the F3 LTD. I am going to look though.

I rode a F3S at a Demo-Days ride. I liked it, power, handling, but was disappointed with the lack of storage. The same dealer made be a great offer on a leftover 2013 STS SE5.
It was too good to turn down. I got used to the 998 engine and keeping the RPMs up and it has more than enough power to get me in trouble and more storage for "stuff"!!
I did like the seating position of the F3, but price was the determining factor.:spyder:

I am picking mine up this Sat. Advertised price is $15999 then they add their BS "frieght and set up" for $550. Price out the door with Indiana sales tax of 7% is $17700.

This is for a 2015 F3 SM6

Still that is not too bad. I paid 20,500 out the door for a F3S SE in June. I think I did alright at the time but some did better and now at the end of the year there are pretty good deals to be had.

There are some great deals out there. The dealer that I am referring to is in Winston Salem. All of them are trying to get rid of their left over rides.
There is also a local dealer in Rockingham that has a 2014 Suzuki Boulevard M109R limited for $8998 otd. The only thing to add is your states tax. That is over $5k off sticker price for a new bike with full warrenty. This is definitely the time of year to buy new.
