There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

So thats 2 fires in a week, mike I'm really going to be curious as to the findings on this one cause it sounds as if it too was put out early. The wife now travels with a extinguisher, but with the bottom splash pan removed,an the foil-foam shield gone, it's just heat now !!. Hope you can stay in the loop for info about this fire inquiring minds need to know. Gene

I been tracking the RS/GS fires. My wife I are both handicapped and slow to getting off my RS. I going to carry a small fire extinguisher in my riding jacket to use so my wife and I get off before we burn to death. I going to test the foam for flash point and if it's to low I will replace it with fireproof material and send the bill to BRP. It's the age of the foam is the key. I think it's just a matter of time before someone gets burned or dies. That's IMHO.
