External USB on F3L?

I have just discovered an external USB cable running along the top of my saddlebags and just sitting loose under the passenger grips. It has a weatherproof cover. I can't find any reference to it anywhere. Can anyone shed any light on what it might be?

That does not sound familiar. Can you take a picture and post it? That would help.

I agree with other poster ... pictures would be great as we both have F3L's. Maybe something we don't get on the USA version.

Sorry guys, I had to get a shrink app. Here's the photo of the rear seat/pannier..that's the USB port you can see behind the aerial. The cable disappears alongside the front seat.

I can't help you with that. Neither mine nor my wife's F3 Limited has that wire.

Thanks anyway, Copperman.....Bloody sales guy didn't know what it was either (and he's one of the good ones)....Unfortunately, we only found it as I was heading out the gate at lock up time. Hopefully he will check with the techs this morning ....
