There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. Extended Warranties

I have a 2014 RTS SE6 with standard warranty and one year promotional warranty, which runs out in July 2017. I have contacted the following venders and insurance companies. Here are the places: Zurich, Reno Power Sports KC, Reno Power Sports NV, Berts MegMall, Blue Ridge Powersports and Pit Bull Powersports Inc. I have had pricing from BRP, Zurich and Century Rider's Advantage. Pricing for BRP 2 year extended warranty of $671 to $942. From private insurance companies $ 3 yrs. $1000 to 84 months of $1499. Finally talked to Pit Bull and got a very good price of $884 for an extended warranty for 60 months after July 2017, when my BRP warranty in over. I am in the process of finalizing this deal with Pit Bull.
I think anybody that is looking to get an extended warranty should call and talk to the people at Pit Bull. They will gladly quote each person individually. Good luck.

That is where I purchased mine as well. There are so many packages out there, and some really good ones. My local dealer had a 3 year bumper to bumper package that was less money than the CanAm BEST. BUT it was serviced by Kawasaki. I just couldn't imagine trying to look for a Kawi dealership to service my Spyder...At least with the CanAm warantee, I can just click on my Garmin and all of the dealers are already loaded in...

Thanks....

For doing the leg work and finding a great deal. Good information to have for those looking to extend thier warranties.... and PitBull has a great rep....

This is a great deal! Thanks for doing the research. I still have warranty until Sept. 2018, but I will definitely be looking into this. That is if I don't decide to make the move to a F3T first.

What brand warranty are you referring to here. Not all warranties are the same. By the way, good work.

And for those that wonder if the extended warranty is worth the money $50 for a new motor is much easier to swallow than $5k-6k... ask me how I know.

My Spyder is currently in the shop for a $50 deductible extended warranty repair. I'm almost to the end of my first year of extended warranty and this is my second claim. I got 3 years of extended warranty for free but if I had paid for it I'd be pretty close to having the cost of my claims exceed the price of a warranty. And I still have 2 years remaining.

I guess it was a big repair on a little leak. We used our BEST warranty 3 times on the 2012 RT and the repairs would have went way over the cost of the 3 years easily.

Pit Bull offers Century Riders Advantage insurance. Contact Buck and he will be able to help you. The package I am getting covers everything that is not spelled out. Great price.

When I get my extended warranty, I'm using Western because I'll be able to have my guy service it, instead of taking it to a dealer. Unfortunately, it is my understanding that BRP only covers work done by a dealer, and for those of us in areas with great independent Spyder service, that's not a win.

Ive
been burned badly by Western. They have filed bankruptcy several times over the years under very similar names. When they do, the policy is worthless. Lost two warranty policies this way but one was not fully paid out. At least I did not bother making any more payments on it. Stick with major insurance carries or the OEM manufacture. The others are a racket you will loose.

We're talking about Western Service Contract Corp? I only had a repair or two and it went fine, and didn't realize they had issues. I have experienced loosing a warranty that way with another company.

I would wonder if the dealer I purchase it from would guarantee the warranty (an agreement in writing that if the company goes under that they will fulfill the terms of the warranty). Doubt it, but I'll ask, and then be very careful where I buy.

I don't think I can get year six from BRP.
