• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Exhaust springs

I'm a new Spyder F3 owner and new to this forum. I've already purchased several items from Lamonster and one is the muffler replacement pipe. I've read here about people fighting with the springs and I just wanted to share here what I used. I already had it in the toolbox from being a snowmobile owner too. It makes removing and installing a piece of cake!

Good to know...

Not that I don't have several home made and store bought...but may Yoshimura R77 came with a real nice one. But in a pinch (like out on the road) a piece of sring/wire and a stick/ bolt or tool will work fine....

once it's hooked release the string and pull it through...

We carry a length of parachute cord for just this purpose. Wrap it around a wrench and pull! This is another chore where having a helper is a definite plus. One pulls while the other guides the spring.
