• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Hello Ladies,

After several years of dreaming about becoming a Spyder owner, I'm about to make the dream come true!

At 67, I don't feel safe riding a bike anymore.

Not a lady here, BUT...

:congrats: :welcome: And remember, it did not happen until we see a picture or two.

Congrats!
Once you forget everything about 2-wheeling, you're good to go. The spyder will bring back the memories of the merry go-round in the park. Lean in, prop the outside leg and enjoy the g-force!

She was just delivered this morning! My 2011 Spyder RT-S Roadster SM5. She only had 170 miles on the odometer - she's just like brand new!

:congrats: .... a 10 year old Spyder with only 170 miles ....unbelievable:clap: .... but it is ..... has ALL the fluids been changed ???? ....if not, they need to be. ..... Mike

My lady's ride is a 2012 RTL, ad the same great color, although hers has just over 41,000 miles on the clock. Still runs well and she loves it. Mine is a 2015 RT-S and I'm happy as a clam with it. We do keep two lightweight two wheeler for puddling around, but when it comes time to go touring the Spyders are just the ticket. Don't tell anyone but hers is actually more fun to ride - we think the high revving engine is a blast. We suspect that may be a result of owning a series of high revving European and Japanese cars and motorcycles. Perhaps?

WooHoo DoctahDIVAH!

Congratulations! I just got my first Spyder (2014 with 2,000 miles on it) for exactly the same reason as you: I'm 66 and no longer feel safe (or want the stress!) of two wheels!!! Even my small dog rides with me! I'm happy for ALL of us!!

My wife is 71 and never ridden a motorcycle, but bought a 2020 Ryker Rally and has ridden it several times now. Has no problem and loves it. I also have a Spyder F3s so we will be riding the countryside together this summer.

Welcome! Always room for One More!

I've been a Spyder Rider since January of 08. I'm still excited about it. Just wish I were 67 again!

Very nice, I too just picked up a 2012 RT SE5 yesterday. Got mine from a friend and it had 5K on it, we had bought our Spyder together in 2012 but I had sold my SM5 for another Harley. Now the Harleys gone and I’m 80 and back on the road with Can Am, hope I remember where I park it. Your gonna love every minute of it and every ride. SM’s and SE’s are both choices to match your wants and needs. Ride Safe, Ride often
