:agree: I've had very few problems with my RT and I thank members such as Nancy's Toy and many others who have posted or answered posts about the problems and now have been solved - often with lots of humor! :roflblack: For example the "missing" right side grill, the moaning when going backwards, squealing brakes. Then there is "death grip" while ryding and the resulting difficulty with steering.
Thanks to all - the complainers and the problem solvers!! For every one that speaks up, there are probably others that quietly read the complaints and solutions and breathe a sigh of relief that they are not the only ones with a problem.
Happy Spydering!!!:spyder2:
The issues you bring up are minor problems. The ones that are upsetting a few :spyder2: owners are the problems that leave you stranded. Luckily the two times my Spyder went into Limp Home Mode I was only a few miles from home. Hopefully the cause for my Limp Home Mode has been corrected. It's been about 300 miles since the service tech recalibrated my steering angle sensor. Sometimes I think the fault detection software is these machines are a little too sensitive. Why would it through a code to put you in Limp Home Mode but after resetting the CPU all is well again. :dontknow: As far as I'm concerned it should only go into this protection mode if an actual serious problem exists. Don't get me wrong. I am very happy with my Spyder. It is by far the best open air ride I have ever owned. I just want to be able to eventually refer to it as "Ol Reliable".
