• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Everybody stay safe, and keep...

The sky is the wierdest color this morning......

Good luck, stay safe and don't take any chances out there.

Danny,
Where've you been hiding? Working on that project? How's it progressing?
I've GOT to get those parts up to you... (Haven't forgotten! :opps:)

My apologies for dropping off the radar like that Bob, yeah, been totally wrapped up in the VMax project.....jeez that bike is fun! Also got a little banged up a couple weeks ago when me, the Kubota and tow behind leaf vac went over an embankment! Got a little beat up on that deal....torn bicep, couple rotator cuff injuries, bruised ribs....stuff like that. The Kubota faired a little worse and cost me about a grand in parts to get her back online....but all is well now.

Yeah, maybe after they open the roads back up :D we can hook up somewhere, that would be fun.

Did you have that odd reddish orange color in the air this morning? Just all grey and ominous now but really strange earlier. :dontknow:

Don't DO this to us! The only one who's allowed to jump ditches is Forrest!
We only had the normal ominous gray color down here... but have been Albany's noise pollution heading your way...
It sounds as if we'll start feeling the storm this afternoon; after 3:00pm... I'll check in as I can!
Peanut Butter Sandwiches and warm beer for everybody!! :2thumbs::cheers:

I figured we were pretty far west of you and didn't have to be concerned; so, I've dropped down to just under 7% body fat.

Our area was blessed

Sandy departed sometime during the night, the wind warnings have been cancelled, the sun is out off and on and other than a few....make that a few thousand....branches to pick up, it's over.

Forecasters were saying there would be a narrow band east of the Hudson River that would get less wind and rain than other areas and they were right on the money.

I wish everyone in Sandy's path would have been as lucky as our area....sadly, that isn't the case.

We were lucky also. Power went out at 6pm and came back on at 9pm.
Not alot of rain either. The back of my dump truck only had about 5 gal in it.
